General Craps Game Rules
Every game of online craps consists of a
series of rolls with the dices. The player currently rolling the dices
is called the shooter and he continues rolling as long as he is winning.
The first roll in each game is called the come out roll. The shooter
wins if the come out roll is 7 or 11 and loses if gets craps (2,3 or
12). If he gets 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 this number is established as the point.
If he obtains the point again before 7 is rolled he wins. If he rolls 7
before the point he loses and the player to his left is handled the
dices and becomes the next shooter.

When the shooter establishes the point the puck is placed on the
corresponding field with its white side showing. It remains here until
the shooter either obtains his point or rolls 7 after which the puck is
placed - with the black side showing - on the field marked with 12. The
reason behind this is that everyone easily can follow the game: -
White
side up: The game is ongoing and the placement of the puck indicates the
point. - Black side up: The next roll will be the come out roll (which
means that a new game is about to begin).
Another of the craps rules states that the first roll of the dice in a
craps round is called the "come out roll." The basic opening bet in
craps, placed just before the come out roll, is called the "pass line
bet." Pass line bets immediately win when the shooter's come out roll is
7 or 11, and lose when the come out roll is 2 (snake eyes), 3 (cross
eyes), or 12 (box cars).
If 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 is rolled on the come out roll, that number
becomes "the point." The puck labeled "ON" shows that the point has been
established, and is located on the craps table over the box for the
number rolled as the point: "4, 5, SIX, 8, NINE, or 10". The shooter now
keeps rolling the dice until he rolls the point or 7 to end the round.
If the shooter rolls the point first, a pass line bet wins. If, however,
the shooter rolls a 7 first (i.e. "sevens out"), a pass line bet loses.
There are numerous ways to make a bet in online craps. Everybody around
the table is allowed to make bets (not just the shooter) and you can
combine the different bets. There are a few more craps rules but those
mentioned above are the most basic and important ones. There is more
related information about the craps rules in the
craps strategies section.
